I’ve got it

I got my driving license today. My dad and his workmate brought me to Levice, I went to the police station and after 2 minutes I came out with my driving license in my wallet.

I had nothing to do, so I went to the Tesco. I bought an Axe shower gel, Winterfresh and a bottle of Pilsner Urquell, then I ate my breakfast and drank the beer.

I didn’t know exactly where is a bus station and the people in Levice don’t really speak English, so it was a pretty hard to find it. I was bored, because I forgot my iPod at home. I went to the Billa and bought a Kit Kat Chunky. When I arrived back to the bus station, there were two girls from my city who I knew a little bit, so we started to chat. They passed their driving exams yesterday and they were in Levice because of this. We talked on the bus so I wasn’t bored. I have to wait ’til my mom comes home with the car and I will drive finally!

Driving License

I’ve got a text from the police, rudely translated: “Dear Sir, you can receive your driving license“

So tomorrow I go to Levice and afternoon I’ll drive dad’s car!

Today I finished the Summer of ‘07, I added the credits and after correcting the whole video I converted the video to MPEG-2 and the audio to AC-3 Stereo. I designed also a DVD menu, which is pretty nice I think, I’m proud to this work. I will burn it to DVD tomorrow, but there is much of free space, so I will maybe add the whole footage as a DVD extra.

I’m sick

I finally could rest after the last week on Sunday. It was a boring day, but finally I had nothing to do! Yesterday when I woke up I felt a pain in my stomach, so I went to the ambulance and the doc said I have to stay at home for 3 days. So I’m at home. I watched the Stargate Atlantis – S05E11, I think the previous one (The First Contact) was much better. 6/10 for this ep. (S05E10 – 10/10).

I made a home video about our holiday (Summer of ‘07), it will be a very short music video, I’ll finish it maybe today. I hope so. I’ll maybe upload it to the YouTube.

I talked with a girl on MSN yesterday night, who was on my contact list and I had no idea who the hell is she. But it was good to talk with her.

Today I will watch the Chemical Wedding which is written by Bruce Dickinson and Julian Doyle. There are no famous actors unfortunately, but the movie should be great bespite of this. Actually I’m a little afraid of it, because according to the IMDB it’s just 5.3/10.

Bad week

This week was very bad. Monday I went to the police station and waited 2 and half hours for few damned paper – I signed them and they took a photo. The woman said they will text me when my driving license is ready to be received (approx. 4-7 days). I learned maths and slovak from 6:30 to 9 PM.

Tuesday I writed three tests (hungarian, maths and slovak). Evening I broke with my girlfriend, because we didn’t have time to meet, just every Friday for a few hours and it wasn’t enough so we decided to break away. I think it was a good decision in this crappy situation, but it doesn’t change anything – I felt terrible because of that…

Wednesday I didn’t want to go to school because I felt miserable but I had to go. I was fucking bored all day long. We had 6 boring lessons, then a lunch break and another three seminaries (one biology and two slovaks). I went home as quick as I could, there was no food, so I went to the Galeri Pub. I drank a few Pilsners (my favorite beer) and before I left I called a girl and asked a date. I waited for her about 20 minutes and when she arrived we strolled in the city. It was pretty good, but I had pain in my right leg, right kidney and head (God knows why), so I couldn’t totally enjoy the date.

Thursday after the school I went to the bank and settled up the Internet Banking for my bank account. I sat before my PC and looked around in the forums, checked my mails etc. After an hour my friend visited me, he, my father and me talked a little bit and drank some wine. Dad bought 400 kg grapes and he asked me to help him to grind them.

I walked to my grandfather’s house, because there is the grinder, my father and the grape-guy went there with car. I had a phone call and when I took my cell phone off, two fucking gypsy kids came to me and asked my phone for a short call. I said I haven’t god credit on it, they begged to me for a minute, but when they saw I won’t give my phone to them, they left me. They were about 13 years old, but when they left me, they went across the street where were a couple of older gypsies, one of them was there with his bike. When I saw the biker and the older one of the phone-beggars come across the street and they’re coming towards me, I started to run. OMG I didn’t think I can run so fucking quickly!!! Fortunately the Galeri Pub was only about 100 meters from that place, so I ran into there and I told the waitress what happened. I rested for a while and I left. I was very aware, I looked around in every second, my eyes were always on the distant people, I checked who is looking at me…

Daddy and me ground all the 400 kilos of grape and my mom came there with car to take us home. I had to prepare for the slovak composition.

Today after the school I came home for a while, but I went to the Galeri Pub almost immediately. It was good to be there, I had also a little work, so when I got the payment, I bought three Pilsners (to my own Pilsner Urquell labeled mug, which I brought to the Galeri today). I talked with my ex-girlfriend on Skype today. Good to know she’s fine.

LOL Today I sent a text to a beautiful girl (I just remember her name and that she is beautiful and blond – I was drunk when I talked to her, so I have no idea who the hell is she) despite I knew she won’t go out with me. Actually that was the reason why I texted her. I wanted to do something… She answered “Hi! Sorry, I think it’s not a good idea to meet” – I thought she will send me a much nastier text.

Driving school, work

I decided I won’t write everything what happened in summer. It doesn’t matter. It was good, the Maiden shows were awesome. I wrote a review to the Lawbreakers’ Pub (few days after the part I what I wrote to the blog – previous post).

I was in Levice yesterday, I had to drive in a bigger city, because I will make my exam drive and exam test on 2nd October.
I arrived home at about 4:30 PM and I had to go to the Galeri Pub. I was late, so I had to start my work immediately. I arrived home 3 hours later, when I could eat my dinner. I was very hungry… I didn’t eat a lunch yesterday.

I talked with my girlfriend and with my friends on Skype, but I went to sleep early (11 PM), I was very fucking tired.

Prague (6-9 August)

I was in Prague first time this summer. Not just a little holiday of course. I went there with my friends just because we really wanted to see the best Heavy Metal band ever, the Iron Maiden! Sorry for this late post, but I wanted to listen to the bootleg and read Rod’s Diary first. And I’m extremely lazy too…

My two friends I from my city (George and David) and two guys (Mate – I knew him, we organized this holiday – and Zsolti) from Budapest, Hungary went to Prague by train, and Adam (from Budapest too) by bus – he arrived later. We arrived at about 1 PM, caught a metro and went to the Prague Holiday office, where we got our apartment keys and maps, and we walked to our apartment, it wasn’t so far from the office. That was a funny situation when we got lost. We couldn’t find our damned apartment, because on our keys were Lipova 2. We thought this is our street number but it wasn’t… Thanks to these helpful guys in Prague, they told us we have check the address on the voucher, so we could find the apartments, which was on the middle of the street. We went directly to the fourth floor, the Hungarian guys to the third floor of the building, and we entered our very nice apartments.

I guess you know, what was our next to-do. Sightseeing, of course. We went to the Wenceslas Square first, because that was the nearest famous place to our apartments. Then we went to find some place where we could drink some famous Czech beer (actually I can drink Czech beer every day here in Slovakia, but that’s not the same). We found a little pub where the waitress couldn’t speak English, so Dave asked the beer in Slovak (I don’t speak Slovak so well, despite I live in Slovakia). I decided to find the Hell’s Bells Rockin’ Pub. It’s close to the metro station Andel. It’s a very cool place, good beer, nice waitress (called Katka), who brought us beer right when we drank the previous one. We didn’t have to ask one more. Actually we couldn’t stop her… After two or three beers each we payed and went back to our apartments by metro, I’ve had a shower and we went out to continue the sightseeing. We walked to the Charles Bridge, and that was beautiful. I bought a pizza, and we went back to the apartments by metro (maybe by the last one). I tried to eat my pizza, but that was absolutely uneatable, so I could eat just a half pizza…

On the second day we continued the sightseeing in that beautiful city. Afternoon I had to check my e-mails (yes, I’m a geek…), I found a place where I could do that. I sent a mail to my mom, and I found a great music shop, but it was late and the shop was closed when we came back, so we went to the Hell’s Bells again. I sent a text to Adrienne (who came to Prague from New Jersey), and I told her where the Hell’s Bells is. She and Jouke (from Netherlands) came to the Andel, George and I went to there to show them where the Hell’s Bells is exactly (it was hard to find also to us first). We drank a lot of beer that evening, and after that we went to our apartments with Ade and Jouke, where we drank beers, Peach and Jack Daniel’s. That was fun, I was a little bit drunk. When Ade and Jouke left, we went down to let them out, but Dave told me he stays in the apartment. But he came down and forgot the keys… we locked ourselves out, so we were sleeping in the other apartment that night.

Morning we went to the office and asked keys, came back and opened the door. I had to bring the keys back to the office, but the others didn’t come with me. There was a brewery called U Fleku (from 1499) on the other side of the street. I went into there (one beer costs over 2 €), so I drank just one beer. But that was amazing, its color was like the Guinness. I met there with a couple of guys from Hungary, including Farm, who I added to my contacts on MSN. He goes to that university which I want to go to, so we had a good chat. I asked his cell phone number, and we left, because I had to go back to the apartments, the others waited for me. After we visited the music shop, we went to the train station to buy our tickets and reservations, and when we went back, it was time to go to the gig! We got there by tram filled with Maiden fans from everywhere (also from Hungary), so almost everyone of these strangers seemed to be our friend, we talked to each other, it was a very good feeling. The stadium was huge and up to date. We had to wait just 10 or 15 minutes for Lauren. The people say she isn’t talented. I think she is, she just isn’t ready for these huge gigs. I listened to her music also on her MySpace, and I have to say it’s much better than her live performance. I think she’ll be much better in few years. And if not… she is one of the most beautiful girls in Britain…

Lazy guy

Sorry, I am extremely lazy to write something I promise I’ll write a long story about this summer, because it was very eventful. Actually I have this blog just because I want to practice the English language. Maybe someone cares about this, maybe not… nevermind

I was in Prague this summer and I’ve seen Iron Maiden twice (Prague and Budapest). Fantastic shows, 8th August 2008 was the best day of my life so far. I’ll write a story to the Lawbreakers’ Pub about them, I’ll maybe post it also here or just a link, I don’t know yet… I’m in school right now, I’ll get home about at 5:30 pm, I have lots of homework, etc.

Concerts

We had two concerts with our new band called Jedis. We played in a little village. We played All My Loving (The Beatles), American Idiot (Green Day), Johnny B. Goode (Chuck Berry), Little Richard (Illes – Hungarian band) and Boldog Szep Napok (Beatrice – Hungarian band too). The audience liked us, and we’ve got an invitation to another one event on the next Saturday. We went to that event without rehearsals but we played well. We played the same songs as before and also two Hungarian songs called 8 ora munka (Beatrice) and Ki visz haza (Bikini). We had free food and drink, so we got drunk after the concert (actually I drank also on the concert – two beers and two Napoleons). We decided to make a band with this line-up: Lord – vocals and guitars, Joker – drums, me – bass guitar. And our name is Jedis. There was a guy who took some photos. Here they are:

10 days

I drove a motorcycle (Adams JL-125C), so it’s okay. I rode a horse today, it was good, the only problem is my right leg pains. It’s terrible, I can’t walk normally. I’m tired, so I just show you a video. Amazing. It’s a medley from the Metro-Illes-Omega superconcert in 2001.

Last days

I drove 4 times! In the driving school is a Fiat Punto Diesel. Not bad, but it’s a little bit small. But no problem, we have a Volkswagen Passsat Variant 1.9 TDi, which is pretty big

Tomorrow I will drive a motorcycle (125 ccm)

In the last few days I listened to Hungarian metal and rock music, for example Omega, Ossian, Bikini, Edda. They’re damn good! You have to listen to them!
